Black Hi-Shine 14 Eye Derby Boot

LOVE THEM. Real quality boot and the support getting them was outstanding. These boots hands down beat the competition. This is my 3rd purchase. I also have monkey boots and brogues. Bye bye DM's you have lost another customer.

Can't say enough about these boots. Comfortable right from the start well made. Very happy customer, will be getting more soon!

very respectable quality

I ordered this boot as my first pair of NPS Solovair footwear and I was very pleased overall. I have fairly wide and flat feet so I was worried about the fit but the boot was easily wide enough for me as I wear a 10.5 mens US and ordered the UK 9. The leather is what you pay for - it's good, but I'm still unsure of how it will wear over time. The finish makes caring for the leather rather complicated. There was a bit of underdyed leather on the inside of the boot but it wasn't a visible defect. as the fit isnt perfect I will probably need additional insoles for this pair of boots and am very glad there's enough room to fit them. As my calves are fairly girthy, there's a point of low tension on the leather behind my achilles, just above the counter where the leather buckles badly and forms unsightly creases. Make sure to use a very easy to tighten lacing method when you get these as breaking in the tongue and lace tabs is no easy task. I used the double helix method and it's proving to be effective.
