Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

I’ve only had these boots

"I’ve only had these boots for a few weeks so still breaking in to them. So far the feel is great and the cut and design of the boots really suit anything from shorts to chinos to jeans to carpenter pants. I do have to warn anyone getting them that probably doing so with some plimsoles is the best option as these are proper shoes and as such will require some proper breaking in, not so much the back heel or the upper leather (which is ridiculously lovely and soft) but the sole."

"Had lots of positive comments about these. OK they're 3x the price of Grafters monkey boots but so much better made. Northern Soul dancing rips the soles off lesser shoes, having killed 3 pairs i knew I had to get these and I love them. Real solid build and chunky monkey look. Polished to a high gloss with Saphir Pâté de luxe. Still breaking them in but I've walked 5 miles at a time and danced all night. Feel big if you get your normal size but I dare not go down half a size, I just wear boot socks."

Absolutely class pair of boots!

"Absolutely class pair of boots! As advised I went down half a size and no issues whatsoever. Comfortable straight out the box, still breaking them in (touch wood no blisters have occurred so far) I haven't had to get plasters or anything, just the usual two pairs of socks and slowly wearing them for longer periods of time. They look absolutely stellar and feel it too."

Classic design meets comfort

"I love this new type of monkey boot. It's a little more chunky, but overall it stays true to the original design and offers more comfort in the toe area due to the boot being a wider fit. Because I wear orthopedic insoles, the orginal monkey boots were always a bit of a narrow fit. So I'm really happy with this new design. I can't wait to get the navy rub-off and the oxblood ones as well. Thank you Solovair and keep up the good work!"
