Solovair Patent Leather
To create patent leather, full-grain leather is split and then buffed or sanded on the grain surface to remove marks or imperfections to form corrected leather. A patent coating is then applied. Although glossy in finish, patent leather is not waterproof and should not be worn in extremely wet conditions.
