Our Goodyear welted footwear is a little larger than most other brands. We would therefore recommend you either purchase a pair of our cushioned socks with our footwear in your regular size, as they offer about 1/2 a size extra fitting, or you go 1/2 a size smaller than you typically wear.

This is not a technical walking boot but is a great choice for casual, comfortable styling, with a padded ankle cuff.
Due to the nature of Greasy leather a layer of Dubbin may be required to achieve the pictured look.
Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

"I have several pairs of Solovair boots and the Hiker style has been the most comfortable to wear from new. The others took some time to break in whilst wearing thick socks. I chose the green colour as it’s different and catches the eye without being too noticeable. I scuffed the toe of one of the boots but an application of the renovating cream brought the colour and shine back which was reassuring. I wear these boots for casual use but they are smart and stylish enough for most occasions."
