Spent a sunny weekend in the south and took the opportunity to model pair no.2 of the fabricgodmother #ArthurPants 🌞 (Last few photos are of the beautiful Salt Line fabric artwork outside of Somerset House, you know I love a textile piece!) This second pair was much faster to construct, but this time I also sized down and went for the zip front construction to give myself a workwear version. That and the button were extremely intimidating!! but the instructions were excellent and now I feel like I can take on the world (of clothing closures). Pair number 3 is definitely on the horizon. The fabric was a 200grm linen/cotton blend, and I don’t know if it’s because it’s a blend, but it’s already started to pill quite a lot, whereas the 100% linen IKEA duvet material has held up beautifully to the same amount of wear. It’s not a big deal since my favourite posession is my little debobbling gadget but it’s something I’ll keep in mind for the next pair I make!
