"I grew up wearing Doc's. My first pair was in 1980 when I started secondary school. Wore them until they needed to be replaced. This is my first pair of Gripfast, mind you i still have 2 pairs fo Doc's one pair made in England and the other Vietnam. First impressions of my Ox Blood 10 eye Darby are just great. Bold, thick sole, Robust. Right out of the box put them on and went straight to work. . . . like everything these days there are differences from boots made in the 80s versus today, but so what. These boots are exactly what I wanted. I normal wear a size 10. 5 US but opted to go to a 10. 5 us because of the bigger last they were made on. Im sure its could have squeezed into a 10 but i have 59 year old feet. They fit great. With room for heavy socks in colder months. Shipping was super fast. I will admit that I must have measured my feet with 3 different tape measures, went to stores to had a proper reading. After about 1 year of indecision I decided to just splash out. No regrets. Now to work on molding them to my feet. ."
