Due to the nature of Greasy leather a layer of Dubbin may be required to achieve the pictured look.

Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

As promised by many folks online within punk circles as well as in other places these feel much higher quality than typical Martens. "A beautiful boot! I initially ordered a 7. 5 which was too large, but was easily able to swap it out for a 7 which fits well. I imagine the fit would be even better for someone with wide feet. Some tiny ring-shaped pieces (leather? plastic?) fell out of the eyelets when I was lacing the boots but there has otherwise been no issue."
